Precision mechanics from Tongeren since 1990
Founded in 1990, Fijn Mekaniek Nelissen is a subcontractor for turning, milling and wire EDM, working in metals and plastics. Its team machines components, spare parts and prototypes in single pieces and in small and large series, for industries such as automotive, construction, medical technology, food and aerospace. Since 2013, Nelissen has been EN 9100 certified, allowing it to produce parts directly for aerospace.
One of RoboJob’s very first customers
Nelissen was one of RoboJob’s very first customers. It chose a RoboJob Turn-Assist for automatic loading and unloading of jobs in smaller numbers, on a Mazak Integrex multitasking machine.

“We’ve had no regrets at all in choosing Robojob as automation partner for our machine park. My foreman Georges has nothing but praise for the operation of the Turn-Assist 250 on a Mazak Integrex. The system has just completed a batch on Sunday. The switch-over to a new series of smaller size on Monday also went perfectly well and extremely quickly.”
— Paul Nelissen, CEO, Fijn Mekaniek Nelissen

Two RoboJob systems on Mazak Integrex machines
Later, Nelissen added a RoboJob Pallet-Load on a second Mazak Integrex.
- Mazak Integrex 200 ST with a Turn-Assist 250
- Mazak Integrex i-250H ST with a Pallet-Load
The result: weekend production, fast changeovers
With RoboJob, Nelissen runs batches unmanned over the weekend and switches to new, smaller series quickly and smoothly at the start of the week.
