Components and finished products from Rhenen

Led by Gerrit Drost, Gedro Metaal produces components, semi-finished and finished products in all kinds of ferrous and non-ferrous metals and plastics. Advanced machinery and a streamlined organisation allow the company to handle both large and small runs.

More than loading and unloading

Gedro invested in RoboJob automation not only to load and unload workpieces automatically, but also to take over finishing operations. Parts are deburred, washed and given a serial number by the robot before being stacked on a pallet. The investment paid for itself very quickly.

“Thanks to RoboJob I’ve recovered my flexibility. I’m able to respond quickly and adequately to the frequently changing market situation. Given that lead times are becoming increasingly shorter, this is extremely important. Above all, using the RoboJob Turn-Assist is child’s play and the machine remains accessible to the operator.”

— Gerrit Drost, Business Manager, Gedro Metaal
