2015 was a top year for RoboJob. Sales of its Turn- and Mill-Assist Series, the standard solutions for the loading of CNC turning, grinding and milling machines are booming in the Benelux. Not surprisingly, the expectations for 2016 are extremely high; and with the Techni-Show in Utrecht and the AMB Messe in Stuttgart indeed being the most important regional trade fairs in the Benelux and Germany, these of course are on the programme. And the Belgian market leader will be sparing no expense there.
‘There’s something in the pipeline’
So said co-founder and business manager Helmut De Roovere at the end of last year in his lookback on a successful 2015. What then is RoboJob going to unveil and when? “Regarding the ‘what,’ it’s still too early,” said an enthusiastic De Roovere, “but we’ll certainly be introducing a completely new concept at the Techni-Show. And here I’m talking about a new product, which we’ll be further adding to our range."
The many visitors to the Techni-Show can already start speculating. In line with expectations, RoboJob will be continuing this common thread in its developments: regardless of the application of the product, this solution will be characterized by its ease of use and intelligence, wherein the whole as always is being developed from the shop floor. It was two years ago that this product was developed for the first time with a customer in Germany and has now been further optimized over the last two years. “In the Benelux too we’ve also been taking orders for it”, says De Roovere.
Common thread
Visitors to the Techni-Show will for sure be able to see that common thread with their own eyes: RoboJob announced today that its automation solutions will also be able to be seen on several other exhibition stands, and that's a first. Apart from on RoboJob’s own stand D 010 in Hall 11 – which is larger than ever - you can also see the solutions on the stands of FANUC, Yamazaki Mazak, Promas and Evolent Machines.
“Of course, that’s fantastic” says De Roovere, “and not surprisingly we’re also enormously grateful to our partners. This way, visitors are able to view our standard products on a whole variety of CNC machines. And with that we’re also directly demonstrating that our solutions can be installed on any brand or type of CNC machine, new or existing.”
This year, besides the Techni-Show, there are many other trade fairs and events on RoboJob’s agenda: in February, the company is participating at the CISCO Live! fair in Berlin, and after that open days follow at INEX, also in Germany, the Salon de l'Industrie in Paris, the MACH trade fair in Birmingham and the AMB Messe in Stuttgart in September.
The dynamic RoboJob team has its goal for 2016 clearly in mind: to continue working strongly on all new developments, for which no expense is being spared at all these different fairs. But the real mission lying behind all this remains unchanged in the New Year: “We want to make the manufacturing industry viable again, and ensure that it remains one of the mainstays of Western European industry. And we also want to make our sector attractive once again for young graduates, who can enter into a challenging and innovative sector, where they can give full rein to their talent and passion for technology,” concludes De Roovere.
