Markus Zaiser, Managing Director: “I first saw RoboJob at a trade fair in Germany. RoboJob presented the Turn-Assist on a machine from Okuma, and we were immediately impressed. At the EMO in Hannover we were also able to see the Turn-Assist 180 at work on Okuma’s stand. We noticed just how compact this model was, and interest was therefore quickly aroused.

Automation is important to us because it allows us to get more output from our machines. High wage costs and significant competitive pressure force us to find solutions, and we have now found these with RoboJob. We quickly sat round the table with RoboJob and naturally also made the comparison with other suppliers. The ultimate decisive factors are the rapid changeover times in both the software and the configuration of the table. Moreover, the Turn-Assist was able to complete many of our requirements with the standard functions including controlling the pressure on the gripper fingers.

The Turn-Assist 250, which we eventually selected, has now been running for a good half year and has been fully accepted as a ‘new colleague’ by our operators. Everyone agrees that it is pleasant to work with the Turn-Assist, and as we say ‘when you do it with pleasure, you do it well.’ There will also soon be another new Turn-Assist.”
