This year once again, the EMO fair in Hannover proved to be a major event: the world’s foremost metals fair was frequented by no fewer than 130,000 visitors. The RoboJob team was also able to visit the fair.

RoboJob pulled out all the stops at the EMO with 2 completely new concepts. In order to accomplish this, a dynamic team of mechanical developers, software engineers and employees in the production department worked extremely hard behind the scenes for months. They were all able to go Hannover together by plane in order to admire the results of their hard work at the EMO fair.

Last year an R&D team was already busy designing the new Turn-Assist 200i and the imposing Tower. The Software team also started work on expanding the new software platform for easy control of these new solutions. For months they all worked hard to get everything done in time, so as to finally set everything up in RoboJob's production department, after which it was all exhaustively tested. "The many colleagues who slaved away behind the scenes in order to get this up and running, were allowed to fly to the EMO fair to admire the results of their hard work on the exhibition floor," CEO Helmut De Roovere told us. And they really appreciated that!

It was an early morning gathering in Heist-op-den-Berg, from where the colleagues left for Zaventem together. There, everyone was on board the aircraft by 7 o’clock and on their way to Hannover. The charter flight was laid on by Agoria, and was totally filled by scores of colleagues from the Belgian manufacturing industry. Once there, everyone could not only visit their own RoboJob stand but the entire exhibition. Apart from that, RoboJob was also represented on the stands of Doosan, Kitagawa, Okuma and Quaser.

"We believe it is crucial to maintain contact with the market. All our employees have regular contact with our customers and suppliers, but at a trade fair you can also get a lot of inspiration by visiting other players in the market. In this way, the contacts were strengthened with the many machine manufacturers with whom we have built up extremely good relationships in the meantime,” said De Roovere.

The visit was rounded off on the RoboJob stand, where a highly successful exhibition was toasted with a fresh Belgian pint. Tired but satisfied, everyone could return to Belgium, where in the meantime they have already started work on the next wave of innovations. At RoboJob as we know, no one rests on their laurels and the following trade fairs and events are indeed already scheduled for the coming weeks.
