This is already the third time that RoboJob will be taking part at Metavak. With the two latest additions to its large product portfolio, interest this year will also be large.
As we know, RoboJob introduced its first 'integrated' model at EMO: the Turn-Assist 200i. With this standard product – used for the automation of turning and grinding machines, as well as for turning/milling combinations - the workpiece feed and removal, robot, operating console and safety features were all assembled on to one chassis. This offers the benefit of being able to move this automation system very easily from one CNC machine to another. Using a pallet jack or forklift truck, the automation can be moved quickly and easily from one machine to another and one can set to work right away.
It was nevertheless the imposing Tower that walked away with the attention at EMO. The rising tower doesn’t only demonstrate single ‘workpiece loading', but also the loading and unloading of clamping units. In time, the Tower will also be able to load all the tools, which will further increase the autonomy of the production cell. Indeed, it then becomes possible to produce both single pieces and serial work together, which further enhances the efficiency, flexibility and output of the machine.
“We are highly delighted that at Metavak we can now welcome our customers in their own region," says CEO Helmut De Roovere. “The EMO trade fair is a gigantic exhibition that is visited by people from all over the world. In Gorinchem we have the opportunity of renewing old friendships with clients from our own region. They of course will also be very keen to know about our latest solutions. Not surprisingly, we’ll be receiving them with open arms.”
Metavak takes place in the Events Hall in Gorinchem from Tuesday 31 October up to and including Thursday 2 November. The doors open every day at 13.00 hrs and stay open until 21.00 hrs.
