After long months without trade fairs and events, we are once again counting down to the first trade fairs and events of the year. COVID-19 measures have been relaxed or even abolished almost everywhere, which means that large-scale events can once again take place. At RoboJob, the countdown is on for May, which is when RoboJob will be heading to Paris for the "Global Industrie" trade fair.

The past few months have again been very exciting for organisers of trade fairs and other large-scale events, including those in the manufacturing industry. Some trade fairs were postponed, e.g. the METAV trade fair in Düsseldorf, TechniShow in Utrecht and the SEPEM trade fairs in France. For the trade fairs that fall later in the spring, it was simply a case of anxious waiting, but the redeeming confirmation now seems to be near.

RoboJob's first trade fairs are already scheduled for April, when we will travel to the MACH trade fair in Birmingham (UK) with partner Hydrafeed and to the SEPEM trade fair in Rouen (France) with Degomme-Boccard. Tuesday, 17 May is the most important day marked in the calendar, however, as this is the start of the "Global Industrie" trade fair in Paris, where RoboJob plans to make a big splash with its own stand.

It is now time to look ahead, and to strengthen the ties with our customers and partners again.

"We have a special relationship with this trade fair," says CEO Helmut De Roovere. "Years ago, in 2016, we took part in this trade fair for the first time. Back then, it was with our partners Mazak and Degomme-Boccard, but now we stand here on our own two feet. "Under normal circumstances, this debut would have happened two years ago, but then the pandemic threw a spanner in the works. "The trade fair was initially rescheduled several times, but then ultimately it was cancelled. In September last year, however, we were able to participate in Global Industrie in Lyon." This trade fair is held alternately in Paris and the southern French metropolis.

Now the time has come, and the bar is set high. "I think I speak for many when I say that we have had enough of COVID-19. It is now time to look ahead, and to strengthen the ties with our customers and partners again. We will therefore have a nice, big stand in Paris where we will give everyone a warm welcome."

Global Industrie will be held in the Parc des Expositions in Villepinte, near Paris. This trade fair is the largest trade fair for the French manufacturing industry, and it will be held from 17 to 20 May 2022. You will find RoboJob in Hall 1, at Stand C78/D77.
