The ‘Automation Team Day’ concept was first used in Germany: at its technology centre in Lehrensteinsfeld, RoboJob organised an Open House with this name for the first time in October 2020. "At this type of event, we naturally highlight our 'Automation' products," explains CEO Helmut De Roovere. "But we don't do that alone: at the first edition in Germany, we did it together with Okuma and Sandvik. Now we are working as a team with SCHUNK and Hainbuch for the first edition in the Benelux."
It promises to be a busy day: visitors will be able to become acquainted with RoboJob's already well-known automation solutions, including the Turn-Assist and Mill-Assist. In addition, the Tower will be highlighted with new features and functionalities. Indeed, there appears to be a great deal of interest in this, particularly in the Benelux. "We've noticed for some time that there's a lot of demand, especially from the Benelux, for extra machine capacity and more autonomy for the CNC machine," says De Roovere. "That's exactly what we built the Tower for: it's the perfect automation for high mix, low volume and you can produce up to 72 hours autonomously with this 'high end' CNC automation."
The Tower was first presented at the EMO trade fair in 2017. “In the meantime, the Tower has now become a well-developed product. However, we’re continuing to build on it to add new features and functionalities. Our partners SCHUNK and Hainbuch also play an important role in this, which is why they are also present this time."
RoboJob is welcoming visitors on Thursday, 9 June 2022.
