The new Technology Centre has already been operational for a few months but today, the doors are being officially opened. In Belgian tradition with a well-filled glass and great food. Robots seem not to be the only thing the Belgian automation specialist imports into Germany. "As Belgians, we’re born lovers of food,” beams Jelle De Roovere, manager of RoboJob Deutschland GmbH. “Today’s a special day for us, and we’re happy to celebrate that with our customers and partners. With food and of course, a Belgian beer! I am delighted that we can welcome so many familiar faces from all over Germany and even from the Benelux, Switzerland and Austria. All these people have come here to celebrate this special event with us. Fantastic!"
The 650m² showroom is well crowded today. Not only with lots of visitors, but also with various RoboJob systems: a Turn-Assist 200 i, a Turn-Assist 270 i and a Mill-Assist Essential i. And it’s not only the ‘Integrated’ systems that attract attention. The brand new Tower Advanced is also being shown off in the beautiful showroom. Even a Racks Large with a 165 kg heavy robot doesn't know when to stop. It’s an impressive sight.
"And that of course, is the intention," says De Roovere. “We not only want to welcome our customers here, but also to demonstrate what we have to offer. In the future we want to organize events on a regular basis, together with our partners. And of course this will be our home base for the German Sales Team and our German Installation Technicians and Service Engineers. There is still a lot to be done here in the coming years.”
The new Technology Centre is located in Lehrensteinsfeld, a stone's throw from Heilbronn and close to Stuttgart. This is one of the most important regions in the German manufacturing industry. Heilbronn is not only the fastest growing region in Germany; it also offers perfect road connections in all directions of the wind. In addition to a 650 m² showroom, the building also has 220 m² of office space and meeting rooms, as well as a Spare Parts Centre. RoboJob constructs robotization for the manufacturing industry. The company was founded in 2007 in Heist-op-den-Berg (Belgium) by Helmut De Roovere and Luc De Ceuster. Today, RoboJob employs more than 60 people and is active throughout Western Europe. The location in Belgium remains active.
