It almost sounds like 'The American Dream': from the basement of his parents' home, Helmut De Roovere started tinkering with his first robot in 2007. More than 10 years later, RoboJob has grown into the undisputed market leader in CNC automation. The company now employs almost 50 employees: a good mix of young talent and experienced guides builds high-tech robotics for the machining industry in from its headquarters Heist-op-den-Berg.
"In order to continue our growth and our innovation trajectory in the coming years, we are looking for some new colleagues to join our team," says De Roovere. "Especially ‘in the field" we have a need for reinforcement. After all, we need to be able to install our automation solutions. And our customers, they are spread across Western Europe." And so RoboJob will be participating at various job fairs to appeal to young talent.
"Already today we will start on the Entrepreneur Day of Group T in Leuven. This is followed by job fairs at Thomas More in Geel on 27 February, and we will close at Thomas More, Campus De Nayer in Sint-Katelijne-Waver on 12 March." With the job fairs, RoboJob hopes to attract young talent to install its robots and to develop new robot applications.
