For many years now, Mazak Benelux has been opening the doors of the 'European Parts Centre' in Haasrode. Traditionally, RoboJob has always been invited to present the latest innovations in CNC automation. This year too, RoboJob is coming out with a first.

During Mazak’s Open House in Haasrode last year, RoboJob exhibited the brand new Tower. After the Belgian market leader in CNC automation presented the Tower at the EMO trade fair in Hannover, this was a first for the Belgian public. “That was particularly appreciated," says Area Sales Manager Bart Vercruysse, who is responsible for Sales in Belgium at RoboJob. "I regularly hear from our customers that they are happy to come to Haasrode, because they know that there’s always something new to be admired here. And we also want to do our part there with RoboJob.”

In the meantime this is already the eighth consecutive time: it confirms the good relations between the Japanese CNC machine builder and the Belgian CNC automation specialist. “So not surprisingly we do everything possible to continuously improve our smooth cooperation,” says Vercruysse. “We already work together in many countries, and naturally we do our best for the Belgian Mazak branch. We are therefore very proud to have already been invited to participate in this great event for the eighth time."

That RoboJob is coming out with a first at Mazak this year may be taken very literally. For the very first time a Turn-Assist 270 is being exhibited in the 'Separated' version. With this, the various elements of the automation are built up separately from each other. In contrast to the 'Integrated' models, this automation is not mobile, but it is highly flexible in the way it can be set up.

At Mazak, the Turn-Assist 270 s has been installed on a Mazak Integrex J 200. "This machine has a separate tool magazine which comes forward," explains Vercruysse. “With an Integrated model, the automation for that magazine would be in front, but with our new Separated version we can ensure that the magazine remains perfectly accessible.”

Mazak opens the doors of the EPC in Haasrode from 27 to November 29, 2018, every day from 14.00 hrs to 21.00 hrs.
