After RoboJob consistently spared no expense at the previous fairs with its with its Turn- and Mill-Assist Series, the Belgian specialist in CNC automation is presenting a completely new concept this year during Mazak's Open House.
In recent years, the Turn- and Mill-Assist Series have grown to become the reference in the automation of CNC machines. "In recent years, we were very excited to showcase our different standard products at Mazak, always with our latest modular extensions and last year even with our new software," says CEO Helmut De Roovere.
With the 'Tower', RoboJob has now taken a new step in CNC automation. According to De Roovere: "When it comes to ‘workpiece loading’, the Turn- and Mill-Assist Series continue to be the most flexible and compact solutions on the market.” “With our new Turn-Assist 200i, we are therefore continuing to work on these easily accessible solutions. In addition, the 'Tower' now allows us to offer an all-round solution, both for turning and for milling.” The new concept received a lot of positive reactions during the launch at the EMO fair in Hanover, and will now be seen for the first time in Belgium.
The Tower will be installed at Mazak on a Mazak Integrex i-300, and will not only load workpieces, but also the machine clamping units in relation to the workpiece dimensions.” RoboJob will be giving live demonstrations to the Belgian visitors every day. In order not to miss this introduction, interested visitors can already register via RoboJob's website, https://www.robojob.eu/en/tradeshows-news/tradeshows-events/open-house-mazak
Of course, it’s not a coincidence that we’re pulling out all the stops with this first in Belgium at Mazak. We’ve had an extremely good collaboration for many years, now resulting in our seventh participation at this highly visited event. We now want to highlight this long-term relationship with our Tower.”
Meanwhile behind the scenes, RoboJob is also working further on automatically providing robot grippers plus all the tools needed for the machining of a component to the machine. And that will increase the autonomy of this machine even further.
Mazak’s Open House is taking place at the Mazak branch in Haasrode, from the 28th to the 30th of November 2017. Visitors can register on RoboJob's website, https://www.robojob.eu/en/tradeshows-news/tradeshows-events/open-house-mazak
