The past few months have been a busy and successful period for RoboJob. In September, the international market leader in CNC automation participated in two important trade fairs: the AMB fair in Stuttgart and the IMTS fair in Chicago. Both events not only provided an opportunity to showcase new technology and products, but also to gain insight into current challenges and opportunities within the industry.

During these exhibitions, it was noticeable that many companies are uncertain about the future. The current economic situation is causing many companies to evaluate their operations and make strategic choices to stay relevant. However, this also brings opportunities. Companies are increasingly realising that automation is no longer a luxury, but a necessity. ‘Advances in CNC automation are seen by many companies as the way to stay competitive,’ CEO Helmut De Roovere knows. ‘Without taking this step, they risk being overtaken by competitors who do fully commit to efficiency and flexibility.’

Another much-discussed topic during both trade fairs was the continuing shortage of technically skilled personnel. This challenge is not new, but remains topical, prompting companies to invest in solutions that can ease the pressure on their teams. "Automation is increasingly seen as the key to bridging this gap. By automating, companies can not only increase their production capacity, but also guarantee the quality and continuity of their processes, even with a smaller workforce," says De Roovere.

Fluctuations in demand also remain a challenge for many machine builders and suppliers. Being able to respond to changing market conditions is essential to remain profitable, and CNC automation provides the necessary flexibility in this respect. Companies that have taken this step clearly experienced the benefits, as was evident from RoboJob's many talks at AMB and IMTS with both existing and new customers.

"We are therefore very satisfied with our participation in both trade fairs. In addition to valuable insights, we were also able to welcome quite a few new customers and record orders. It was clear that many companies are ready to take the step towards far-reaching automation or have already taken it and want to optimise further," De Roovere looks back.

Looking ahead to Metavak 2024

"For those who could not be there in Stuttgart or Chicago, the Metavak trade fair offers a new opportunity to get in touch with us. This fair will take place in a few weeks' time, and we will be there again to present our latest developments in CNC automation. One of the highlights on our stand will be Coby CNC, but in addition, we will of course be ready to inform visitors about our full product range and our solutions in the field of CNC automation."

RoboJob cordially invites everyone to visit their stand at the Metavak and discover what automation can do for their production processes. You will find RoboJob from 1 to 3 October at Evenementenhal Gorinchem, stand H 101.
