RoboJob will put Tower in the spotlight at EMO Hannover
The first time RoboJob presented the Tower was two years ago at the EMO in Hannover. “That was an absolute first then,” says CEO Helmut De Roovere. “With the launch of our Tower, we then took the first steps towards further automation of our industry. We are now 2 years further, and have further developed the prototype of that time in all possible areas: not only mechanically or electrically, but in particular in terms of software and programming.”
That software is crucial for the efficient deployment of the Tower. RoboJob can now also build on the experience that they were able to gain during the first 15 installations. “We can now state that our Tower has become a mature product,” says De Roovere. And this mature product is perfectly suited to meet the challenges of the ‘High mix, low volume’ reality of today.”
There are two standard versions of the Tower today: the Tower Essential, which can be used to load and unload pallets in addition to workpieces, and the Tower Advanced. Using the Tower Advanced it’s also possible to produce single pieces and series together. In order to make that possible, clamping devices and grippers can be exchanged.
During the EMO, RoboJob will be putting additional emphasis on the Tower in Hall 27, on stand A 46. In addition, various other RoboJob products will also be demonstrated at the stand. The EMO trade fair will be held in the Hannover trade fair complex from 16 to 21 September 2019.
