ROBOJOB SHOWCASES AUTOMATION AT DN SOLUTIONS AT AMB

From 15 to 19 September, RoboJob will be taking part in AMB in Stuttgart, one of Europe’s leading trade fairs for metalworking. In addition to showcasing its automation solutions at its own stand in Hall 6, RoboJob will also be present at its partner DN Solutions’ stand. There, a Turn-Assist 270 i will be automating a DNX 2100SB Multitasking Turning Center.

CNC Automation is high on the agenda for machining companies. Due to the shortage of experienced operators, increasing competitive pressure and the growing demand for smaller production runs, manufacturers are looking for ways to keep their machines running for longer and more efficiently. At AMB, RoboJob will demonstrate how a user-friendly and flexible automation solution can make all the difference.

Fully automated machining

At the DN Solutions stand, the Turn-Assist 270 i is paired with the DNX 2100SB. This multi-tasking machine combines turning and milling operations and features two spindles and a flexible B-axis. This allows workpieces to be fully machined on six sides in a single set-up. The result: fewer set-ups, shorter set-up times and reduced process complexity.

The DNX 2100SB features, amongst other things, a maximum machining diameter of 410 mm, a turning length of 1,100 mm and a bar capacity of 81 mm. The milling spindle operates at 12,000 revolutions per minute, whilst the chain magazine accommodates sixty tools. In combination with the Turn-Assist 270 i, this creates a flexible production cell capable of producing even smaller batches unmanned over extended periods.

Collaboration within the DNVP programme

The presentation forms part of the DN Solutions Verified Product programme (DNVP), of which RoboJob has recently become a member. Within this programme, DN Solutions brings together carefully selected and validated technology partners. For customers, this offers added assurance regarding the integration between the machine and the automation system.

“AMB is the ideal opportunity to discover for yourself what CNC automation makes possible today”, says Jelle De Roovere, CEO of RoboJob. “At DN Solutions, we demonstrate how multitasking and flexible automation reinforce each other. Visitors will not only see an impressive machine, but above all a complete production solution that enables them to increase their capacity and redeploy operators to other tasks. We therefore warmly invite everyone to visit both our own stand and that of DN Solutions.”

At the RoboJob stand, visitors can explore the extensive portfolio and discuss their specific automation challenges with RoboJob’s specialists. You’ll find RoboJob in Hall 6 at stand B10. DN Solutions is in Hall 10 at stand A31.
