RoboJob nominated for TechniShow Innovation Award
RoboJob, the international market leader in CNC automation, has been nominated for the prestigious TechniShow Innovation Award. The nomination recognises the E-Grip, a completely new gripper concept developed by RoboJob itself that fundamentally changes the way CNC machines are automated.
From 27 entries, the jury selected only three companies that are in the running for the coveted award. With the E-Grip, RoboJob distinguishes itself as a pioneer in the manufacturing industry by pushing the boundaries of robot automation once again.
The E-Grip: a revolution in flexible automation
The RoboJob E-Grip is the first robot gripper to be designed, built and marketed entirely in-house by a robot integrator. The innovative design incorporates integrated motors and a control module, making the gripper not only more compact and easier to use, but also more versatile than ever before.
What makes the E-Grip unique is its ability to change gripper heads, fingers, claw plates and jaws fully automatically. This enables an unprecedented degree of flexibility in CNC automation: the E-Grip can switch effortlessly from one product to another without manual intervention.
‘With the E-Grip, we are taking a new step in CNC automation, especially for companies striving for “lights-out production”,’ says Helmut De Roovere, CEO of RoboJob. ‘We want to help companies maximise their spindle hours and thus dramatically increase the return on their machines and investments. This nomination is a wonderful recognition of that vision.’
Discover the E-Grip at TechniShow
Visitors to the TechniShow will have the unique opportunity to see the E-Grip in action. RoboJob will be present at no fewer than two stands:
The Tower EVO with the new E-Grip will be linked to a DVF 5000 milling machine from DN Solutions at the Dormac CNC Solutions stand.
Okuma will be showcasing one of RoboJob's established products: the Turn-Assist 200 i will be connected to an Okuma LB 3000.
‘Technological innovation is in our DNA,’ continues De Roovere. ‘We are proud that with the E-Grip, we are once again demonstrating how practical automation and smart engineering come together to make the manufacturing industry future-proof.’
