RoboJob launches completely new Tower at EMO Hannover

Eight years after the introduction of the first generation Tower, RoboJob is once again making history. At the EMO trade fair in Hannover, the Belgian market leader in CNC automation is presenting a completely new Tower: a groundbreaking solution that combines even more capacity, flexibility and technical possibilities in a compact footprint.

Success story since 2017

The first generation of the Tower was also launched at EMO in 2017. At the time, it was the first automation solution for turning and milling machines to be offered in such a modular and scalable way. Since then, more than 150 Towers have been installed at manufacturing companies worldwide. The Tower has thus become a reference product that has proven how automation not only increases productivity but also strengthens the autonomy of companies.

The Tower at the EMO tradeshow in 2017

‘The first Tower was a game changer for us and our customers,’ says Helmut De Roovere, CEO of RoboJob. "But we knew that this was only the beginning. With the new Tower, we are building on that success and taking a big step forward at the same time. We are taking automation to a level that cannot be found anywhere else today."

New standards in automation

The new Tower is available in three models (3,500 mm, 4,100 mm and 4,700 mm high) and offers the largest capacity on the market with up to 14 m² of storage space and 6,960 kg load capacity. Thanks to its smart vertical design, floor space is kept to a minimum, while companies significantly increase their autonomy for day, night and weekend production.

A completely redesigned internal logistics system – with a single central lift and a flexible transfer hatch – makes the Tower not only faster and more reliable, but also more user-friendly. In addition, the operator retains free access to the CNC machine in every configuration, even in a 2-machine setup.

The introduction of the E-Grip further expands the range of applications. This intelligent gripper can automatically switch between workpiece grippers, collets, pallet modules and tools. In combination with the powerful, intuitive software, this opens up an unrivalled spectrum of possibilities for both high-mix, low-volume production and large-scale series.

First installations in 2026

The first installations of the new Tower are planned for Q2 2026. Until then, all planned projects will be carried out with the current Tower. This underlines RoboJob's philosophy of only bringing products to market that are fully developed, thoroughly tested, and ready for production.

“We never bring half-finished innovations to our customers,” emphasizes De Roovere. “Every new Tower we install will be 100% reliable, as our customers have come to expect from us. That is the basis of the trust we have built with them over the years.”

EMO as a platform for innovation

It is no coincidence that RoboJob is launching the new Tower at EMO again. For years, the company has used the largest international machine trade fair as a springboard for its most important innovations. RoboJob will also be presenting the application of artificial intelligence in the Pallet-Load Integrated at the fair.

‘EMO has always been the place where we push our boundaries,’ continues De Roovere. ‘Our innovations have repeatedly demonstrated that automation can be simpler, smarter and more powerful. With the new Tower, we are once again setting a new standard and propelling our industry to new heights.’
