RoboJob announces new CEO
RoboJob, a leading specialist in CNC automation, today announced that Jelle De Roovere will take over as CEO on 1 March. He succeeds co-founder and driving force Helmut De Roovere, who has been at the helm of the company since its inception in 2007, together with Luc De Ceuster. Helmut will remain actively involved in RoboJob in a more operational and advisory role.
The appointment of Jelle De Roovere symbolises continuity and trust. As the son of co-founder Helmut, Jelle is part of the second generation within the company. Like his brothers Yoeri and Peter De Roovere, who are both active at RoboJob, he contributes to strengthening the values on which the company is built. RoboJob is driven by a passion for technology, entrepreneurship and sustainable relationships with employees, customers, partners and suppliers.
Since its inception in 2013, Jelle has held various key positions within the company, including Area Sales Manager Benelux, founder and general manager of RoboJob GmbH in Germany, founder of RoboJob Inc. in the USA and head of Sales & Business Development. He has played an important role in RoboJob's international expansion, including the establishment of its own branches in Germany and the United States, where a Technology Centre was established this year in Indianapolis, Indiana. In recent years, he has been closely involved in the day-to-day management of the company and has helped shape its strategic direction.
‘Jelle has been an asset to RoboJob for many years and has played a crucial role in our international growth,’ says Helmut De Roovere, co-founder and former CEO. ‘This step is a logical continuation of RoboJob's growth story. With Jelle at the helm, RoboJob remains in trusted and capable hands.’
Jelle De Roovere emphasises the importance of stability and trust in this transition: ‘RoboJob is built on the best technologies and lasting relationships with talented employees, customers, partners and suppliers. These foundations will remain unchanged in the next phase. Our focus will continue to be on innovation, quality and ease of use – with the same passion and drive that has characterised RoboJob since its inception.’
The change at the top will not entail any structural changes. For customers, partners and employees, the familiar faces and working methods will remain unchanged. RoboJob remains committed to revolutionising high-mix production worldwide with best-in-class automation systems that are easy to use, install and integrate.
