Choosing CNC automation means choosing:
- Revenue Growth
- Increased Job Satisfaction (CNC Operators and Shop Owners Alike!)
- Increase of Gross Margin
- Quick Responses to Fluctuations in Demand
- Improved Ability for a Single Operator to Tend Multiple Machines
- Increased Machine Capacity via Increased Spindle Hours
- Increased Sales Quantities
- Increased Quality (Refined and Consistent Processes)
- Lower Stock Levels through Shorter Process Times
- Less Dependency on Personnel (Improved Work/Life Balance)
- Etc.
Shop leaders who automate with the right automation make more money, reduce stress, reduce scrap, and can even attract younger generations by simply having a robot (or new technology) on the floor.
In my opinion, shops have improved performance due to direct benefits from the automation, but I think it’s also fair to say that shops that want to automate are generally forward thinking and are always trying to find a way to improve performance. At least that's what we've been seeing with RoboJob in the last 16 years.
