Job description

As a Field Automation Expert, you bring our robots to life at the customer’s site. You install, test and optimise our automation solutions on CNC machines, ensuring that users can operate them with confidence and ease.

Profile

• You hold a relevant degree in Electromechanics or have equivalent experience.
• You are willing to travel within Europe (typically 5 days a week – the Netherlands, France, Germany, …). You are at home during the weekend.
• You are stress-resistant, eager to learn and work in a structured way.
• You communicate clearly and pleasantly, and you are a good listener who analyses information effectively.
• You have strong technical skills, especially in electricity and PLC, and are familiar with CNC machines.
• You are solution- and results-oriented.
• You speak fluent Dutch and English and have a good basic knowledge of French and/or German or are open to learning these languages.
• You enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and cultures.
• You hold a valid Category B driver’s licence.

Main responsibilities

• Install and commission robot cells on existing or new CNC machines at customer sites across the EU.
• Provide on-site training to users and offer remote or on-site technical support in case of questions or issues.
• Maintain close contact with CNC machine installers and suppliers.
• Prepare detailed commissioning reports.
• After your training period, participate in a rotation system providing on-site support for customers abroad (mainly Germany, France and the Netherlands).
