Meca Technic is a specialist in precision mechanical engineering based in Basse-Normandie, France. The company employs around fifteen people and provides turning and milling services for a wide range of sectors, including the automotive, food, pharmaceutical, aviation and defence industries. Since 2019, the company is managed by Florent Aubé, who is strongly committed to innovation and automation.

We do a lot of series production on our milling machines, and until recently that was purely manual work. By automating, we wanted to relieve our employees and give them the opportunity to develop and focus on more challenging, creative tasks. Programming robots is not only ergonomic and motivating, but also allows people to add value to the production process.
Our markets are demanding by nature: customers expect short delivery times, flexibility and flawless production. Thanks to RoboJob, we have succeeded in significantly increasing the availability of our machines. The robots take over the heavy and repetitive work, allowing our technicians to focus on programming, studies and process improvements. The result? Up to 50% growth in turnover over five years thanks to higher machine utilisation and a lower error margin!

Without automation, Meca Technic would simply not be able to compete in certain markets; maximum machine availability is indispensable, especially for large series or long cycle times.
