Precision machining since 1973
Founded in 1973 by Heinrich Jehle and Adelbert Feger, Jehle CNC machines industrial prototypes and series parts in the Hofweier industrial area of Hohberg, with a modern machine park. As for many companies, finding skilled workers is a challenge, while there is more than enough work. That is why Jehle turned to automation.
Why RoboJob: unbeatable set-up times
Jehle first saw RoboJob at the Turning Days trade fair, where a Turn-Assist was running on a Mazak lathe.
“We were very impressed with the ease of set-up and changeovers of this automation. A comparison with other providers taught us that no one else could live up to the quick set-up and changeover times of RoboJob. That set-up time was decisive for us, though it is certainly a bonus that the whole thing is so compact.”

Two existing machines, retrofitted
The first RoboJob Turn-Assist 180 was installed on Jehle’s DMG Mori CTX 310 V3 lathe in just a few days. Half a year later, a RoboJob Mill-Assist Essential followed on a FANUC Robodrill. Both machines had been in use for several years; RoboJob took care of automating the door and of the interface with the machine.

- FANUC Robodrill with a Mill-Assist Essential
“We were extremely surprised with the speed of the installation of our Turn-Assist 180 on our DMG lathe. This was done in just a few days, after which we could immediately set to work. Since then it’s been running like a train.”
— Jehle CNC, Hohberg

The result: no longer without robots
“We can no longer imagine that we ever did all the work without the robot. We became accustomed to it so quickly and could now no longer be without our robots.”
